Delete your AnaChef account

You can delete your AnaChef account in either of the following two ways. On Google Play, the app's developer is listed as AnaChef App.

In the app

In Settings, scroll to "Closing your account" and tap "Delete my account". Follow the steps, and your account and everything you published will be deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.

Without opening the app

Email us at info@anachef.sa from the email address registered to your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will delete your account within 15 business days of receiving your message and let you know when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and all your recipes and their photos will be deleted permanently.
• Your comments, ratings, likes, saves and follows will be deleted.
• We keep internal safety records without your name, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
• This cannot be undone.

Delete a recipe, a photo or a comment and keep your account

In the app you can delete anything you published at any time, and your account stays as it is.

• A recipe: open the recipe and tap the delete icon at the top. This can't be undone. All likes, saves, and comments on it will be removed too.
• A photo in a recipe: open the recipe, tap the pencil icon, tap the x on the photo, then continue to the last step to republish the recipe. The photo is deleted when the recipe is saved. In a quick recipe you can replace the photo with another one.
• A comment: tap the three dots beside your comment, then "Delete". Your comment will be removed. Replies to it stay.
